You have dreams. Let’s put them within reach.
Financial planning is about choosing a lifestyle and then developing an investment strategy to make it a reality. Our personal approach means we commit the time, effort, and energy necessary to craft a financial plan that truly reflects the circumstances of your life and the goals to which you aspire. We like to think about financial planning in three easy steps:
We’ll get to know you. By learning more about you—your values, passions, and obligations—we’ll help you uncover your goals and dreams. We’ll ask you a series of questions to help us better understand your lifestyle preferences. For example, we’re interested to learn the following:
- What is important to you about money?
- What are your career objectives? Where do you want to be in 10 years?
- Do you imagine yourself downsizing in retirement? Moving? How do you see yourself in retirement?
- What plan do you have for long-term care when you’re older? How will you handle your long term care needs?
We’ll take an inventory of your current finances. Together, we’ll closely examine your cash flow, resources, investments, and assets. This step is critical, as it tells us how we can make your dreams doable.
We’ll devise a strategy for achieving the life you desire and set that strategy in motion. Don’t worry; we won’t leave you with a mind-boggling to-do list. In fact, we’ll continue to work with you through the entire process, from deciding exactly how much money to put into a 401k to determining when it make sense to start collecting Social Security.
